The Grizzly Creek Permit to Carry Presentation is a comprehensive Minnesota Permit to Carry course designed to help responsible citizens understand firearm safety, self-defense laws, and the responsibilities of carrying a firearm. Led by experienced instructor Steve McCormick, the course combines practical instruction with real-world legal and safety considerations.

Students will learn Minnesota permit requirements, firearm laws, safe handling practices, defensive mindset principles, situational awareness, conflict de-escalation, and the lawful use of force. The program also covers handgun operation, ammunition selection, safe storage, transportation regulations, and interactions with law enforcement.

The course includes live-fire qualification and provides participants with the knowledge and confidence needed to carry responsibly. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate that can be used when applying for a Minnesota Permit to Carry through their local sheriff’s office.
